Fiona: Terry knew the Lichfield Tattoo as an English tune but I’d never realised how great it was until I heard it played in a session by an old-timey fiddler from Georgia. The session went on most of the night and we must have played the Lichfield Tattoo for at least an hour.....
Terry: We started playing the Lichfield Tattoo together in this style and later added Flowers of Edinburgh in the version used by Royal Liberty Morris that I learnt from Paul Draper.
